Jonathan Guerrero

Clinical-community Psychology Graduate Student Assistant at Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium

Jonathan Guerrero has a diverse work experience in the field of psychology. Jonathan started their career as an Adjunct Instructor and Post-Masters Counseling Intern at the University of Guam from August 2012 to May 2015. Jonathan also worked as a Judicial Therapist at the Judiciary of Guam from May 2015 to February 2017. Following this, they served as a District School Psychologist at the Guam Department of Education from February 2017 to July 2020.

In 2020, Jonathan joined the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) as a Clinical-Community Psychology Graduate Student Assistant. Jonathan then took on the role of Clinical Psychology Extern at ANTHC's Behavioral Health Wellness Clinic from December 2021 to March 2023.

In addition, Jonathan also gained experience as a Doctoral Practicum Student at the University of Alaska Anchorage from August 2021 to May 2022.

Jonathan Guerrero completed their education history as follows:

- From 2020 to 2025, they attended the University of Alaska Anchorage, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Clinical-Community Psychology.

- Before that, they attended the University of Guam, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Clinical Psychology, with an end year of 2012.

- Prior to their master's degree, they received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Guam, with an end year of 2008.

In addition to their academic degrees, Jonathan Guerrero obtained several certifications. Jonathan became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in October 2017, licensed by the Guam Board of Allied Health Examiners. Jonathan also obtained a License as a Professional Counselor in July 2015, also from the Guam Board of Allied Health Examiners.
