Public Health Program Specialist III at Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium

Lauren Smayda, MPH has a diverse work experience in the public health field. Lauren started their career in 2013 as a Lab Technician at the University of Alaska Anchorage, where they worked until 2015. In 2015, they joined the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) as a Specimen Bank Technologist and later transitioned to the role of Institutional Review Board (IRB) Coordinator. From 2018 to 2019, they also worked as a Research Associate at ANTHC. Lauren's most recent roles at ANTHC include Program Coordinator and Public Health Program Specialist III, which they currently hold as of July 2022.

Lauren Smayda, MPH completed their education with a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2022. Prior to that, they also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the same institution.
