Rachael Demarce

Rachael DeMarce has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 with internships at the State of Montana and the United States Senate. In 2013, they also worked as a Summer Community Development Coordinator at Hope Community Resources. In 2015, Rachael worked as a Grant Reviewer at the U.S. Department of Education and as a Public Health Student Consultant at Mount Sinai Health System. Rachael then joined the Sealaska Heritage Institute as an Education Department Program Assistant from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they also started working at the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC), first as a Finance Administrative Resident and then as a Senior Patient Access Manager until 2018. Rachael worked as a Senior Healthcare Consultant at McDowell Group, Inc. from 2018 to 2019. Since 2019, they have been working as an Analytics Engagement Manager at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC). In 2014, Rachael also started their own consulting business called Mis tahks ah ki (Mountain Woman) Consulting.

Rachael DeMarce's education history includes a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Management from Columbia | SIPA, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Political Science from Carroll College, a PPIA fellowship in Public Policy and International Affairs from Carnegie Mellon University, a WINS Summer Program in American Indian/Native American Studies from American University, and a Study Abroad program in Sydney, Australia, earning a Global Leadership Certificate from Macquarie University.
