Richard Clinch has work experience as a Compliance Analyst at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium. Prior to this, they served in the United States Army for 17 years, starting in 1974. During their time in the Army, Richard held the position of LTC, ANC and worked in various Intensive Care Nursing settings. Richard later became the Head Nurse of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and served as the Chief Nurse of the 46th Combat Support Hospital at Fort Devens Mass. In this role, they worked as an intelligence and operations officer.
Richard Clinch completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1970 to 1974. Richard further pursued their education by earning a Master's degree specializing in Leadership and Command and Staff Functions from the US Army Command and General Staff College between 1984 and 1985.
