Shannon Ely McCain

Shannon Ely McCain has an extensive career in human resources, starting as a Human Resources Specialist I for the State of Alaska in 2009. Shannon moved up the ranks to various HR consultant roles within different departments until becoming the Human Resources Manager for the City & Borough of Juneau. In 2023, they took on the role of Director of Human Resources at the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation.

Shannon Ely McCain obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Alaska Southeast in 2004. In 2010-2011, they studied Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration at the same university. In 2020, they received the IPMA-HR SCP certification from IPMA-HR.
