Jennifer Goetsch has extensive experience in various roles within the research, sales, and outdoor education fields. Currently working as a Research Technician at Alaska SeaLife Center, Jennifer is responsible for operating cameras, managing interns, and maintaining data related to Steller Sea Lions. In addition, Jennifer has worked as a Research Technician at Eider Lab, performed bivalve dissections, and assisted with various laboratory duties. With a background in philosophy, biology, and chemistry from Beloit College and University of Otago, Jennifer is a dedicated and versatile professional.
Alaska SeaLife Center
The Alaska SeaLife Center generates and shares scientific knowledge to promote understanding and stewardship of Alaska's marine ecosystems. While primarily dedicated to marine research, the Center is the only permanent facility permitted to rescue and rehabilitate marine mammals and birds, and is the only public aquarium in the state of Alaska. The Alaska SeaLife Center is located on the shores of Resurrection Bay in beautiful Seward, Alaska. The facility is open year-round.
