Matthew Ravichandran

Matthew Ravichandran is currently serving as a Research Technician in the Puigserver Lab at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where duties involve utilizing IMAC protein purification and biochemical assays to investigate the regulation of mitochondrial transport proteins under obesity-induced stress. Previous experience includes a Laboratory Assistant role at HepatoChem, focusing on metabolite synthesis for pharmaceutical projects, and a Research Assistant position at Gordon College, where research centered on tumor-induced cachexia and gene expression analysis. Additionally, Matthew has demonstrated leadership as the Student Chapter President for the American Scientific Affiliation, managing budgets and organizing events. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a Pre-med focus from Gordon College, attained in May 2023.
