About

The Research and Animal Care Team at the Alaska SeaLife Center is responsible for conducting scientific studies on marine ecosystems, as well as rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing specialized care for marine mammals and birds. This team includes roles such as Research Technician, who facilitates ongoing research projects; Director of Animal Health, who oversees medical care and health management for marine animals; and Avian Husbandry Coordinator, who ensures the well-being and proper husbandry of bird species in the center.
