Hashmat Rohian

Hashmat Rohian is currently the VP & CTO of Emerging Business Models at Alate Partners. Prior to this, they were a Research Assistant at York University where they developed Java and C code to perform Text Mining within large biomedical datasets. Hashmat has also competed in the 2007 TREC Genomics Track competition as a result of their designed algorithms. Hashmat has also held the position of Vice President at The Co-operators and AVP of Digital Innovation at Aviva. Hashmat is currently a Professor at Centennial College's School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science.

Hashmat Rohian has a background in computer science, data mining, and financial engineering. Hashmat has a Master of Science in Data Mining from York University, and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Engineering from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Hashmat is also a Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
