Monica Szalajko

Monica Szalajko is a skilled professional in social media and public relations, currently serving as the Social Media & PR Coordinator at AlayaCare since May 2023. A proactive entrepreneur, Monica founded the ArtSci Cup, the inaugural charity basketball game at Queen's University, successfully generating over $20,000 for charity. Monica has extensive experience in marketing and communication, having held positions such as Marketing and Communication Officer at the Arts and Science Undergraduate Society, where marketing strategies impacted over 14,000 students, and various roles within the Queen's Healthcare & Business Conference. Additionally, experiences include serving as Events Chair for Queen's Scientista and Public Relations Coordinator for Sunshine Celebrations Queens, highlighting a commitment to community engagement and support for underrepresented groups in STEMM.
