Kai Berking

Kai Berking has extensive work experience in procurement and sourcing. Kai started their career as a Manager Controlling at Preusse Baubetriebe GmbH in 1992. Kai then moved to Lufthansa Technik AG, where they held various roles including Director Strategic Purchasing, Director Corporate Development, and Head of Material Management. In 2008, they joined Lufthansa as a General Manager and later became the Director Corporate Sourcing. Kai then joined Air Berlin PLC & Co. Luftverkehrs KG as the Senior Vice President of Procurement. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as the Chief Procurement Officer at Archroma. Currently, they serve as the Leiter Einkauf/CPO at ALBA Group / ALBA / Interseroh.

Kai Berking pursued their education at the Technical University of Munich from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained a Pre-Diploma in Machinery Engineering. Following this, from 1987 to 1992, they attended the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, where they achieved a Diplom in Business Economics.
