Derek Weglarz

Derek Weglarz is an experienced product manager currently at UL, where responsibilities include driving digital innovations for global market access and enhancing safety, security, and sustainability. Previously serving as a UX designer at UL, Derek's career spans various roles in design and creative strategy, including founding Distributive Design to offer creative services to clients such as Edelman and BMO Harris Bank. Additional experience includes positions as XD strategist at Leviathan, creative lead for both BMO Harris Bank and Levy Restaurants, and senior designer roles at Edelman and Leviathan. Derek's early career involved significant contributions as a package designer and art director for various agencies. Derek holds a BFA in Visual Communications from the Illinois Institute of Art.
