Jonathan Thompson

Jonathan Thompson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as CEO of AlbaCo Ltd since May 2023 and holding a Senior Adviser position at Laeceum, Jonathan has a proven track record of leadership and strategic input across various organizations. Notable past roles include CEO and Co-Founder of Bank North, as well as significant positions at Santander UK, Deloitte UK, and Lloyds Banking Group, where Jonathan developed and led initiatives in banking, debt advisory, and corporate finance. Education includes a BSc (Hons) in Finance from The University of Manchester. Jonathan is also a member of the Business School Advisory Board at The University of Huddersfield, contributing to the academic and strategic direction of the institution.
