Barend Oberholzer

Barend Oberholzer has worked at AlbaCore Capital Group since 2019 in two different roles: Vice President and Senior Fund Controller. Prior to that, they worked at Deloitte Cayman Islands from 2011 to 2019. At Deloitte, they held various positions including Manager, Senior Accountant, and CA(SA) Trainee.

Barend Oberholzer completed their education with an Honours in B.Acc from Stellenbosch University in 2010, preceded by a B.Acc degree from the same institution between 2007 and 2009. Their secondary education was obtained at Hermanus High School, where they completed their Matric in 2006, focusing on Mathematics, Computer Science, Accounting, and Science. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a CFA from the CFA Institute in 2018 and as a CA(SA) from SAICA in 2014.
