Joao Guaragna

Joao Guaragna is an experienced professional with extensive expertise in industrial management and quality assurance. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Albany International Corp. since August 2010, Joao oversees all operational activities at the Indaial plant, including production, technical processes, maintenance, procurement, safety, quality, and environmental management. Prior roles at Albany International, spanning from 1994 to 2010, included positions such as Integrated Process Manager, Quality Manager, and Project Leader, focusing on product design, process adjustment, and quality management. Joao's career began in engineering roles at Celulose Irani S/A and Klabin Correia Pinto, with responsibilities in paper production processes. Joao holds a Master's degree in Management from FURB and multiple postgraduate qualifications in Marketing and Mechanical Production Engineering, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul.
