Sean Valashinas

Sean Valashinas serves as the Vice President, Controller, and Principal Accounting Officer at Albany International Corp. since June 2025. Previously, Sean held the position of Vice President Global Controller, Tax, & Treasury at Resonetics from February 2024 to June 2025. Sean's extensive experience at Standex International, spanning from October 2007 to February 2024, included roles such as Chief Accounting Officer, Assistant Treasurer, and Vice President of Finance for the Engineering Technologies Group. This role involved overseeing accounting and treasury functions for an $800 million multi-national SEC registrant, as well as leading financial aspects of M&A activities. At The Hershey Company, Sean managed M&A and special project accounting and contributed to international SAP implementations. Early career experience included senior auditing roles at PwC. Sean holds an MBA from Boston University and a BS in Accounting from the University of Scranton.
