Melissa Mansfield

Melissa Mansfield is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public affairs and media relations. Currently serving as a Senior Content Specialist at Albany Medical Center since February 2024, Melissa previously held the position of Advisor, Public Affairs and Communication at Boralex Inc., where strategic communication supported renewable energy project development. As Vice President at SKDK, Melissa led strategic political advocacy campaigns, worked closely with diverse clients, and contributed to significant legislative achievements, including the Child Victims Act. Additional roles include Associate Director of Public and Media Relations at HANYS, Sr. Assistant Press Secretary in the New York State Assembly, and Reporter/Researcher at Newsday. Melissa's educational background includes a BA in French, Journalism, and International Relations from SUNY New Paltz.
