Hussam Younis

Hussam Younis is an experienced database administrator and software engineer with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Database Administrator Team Lead and Senior Database Administrator at Albaraka Türk Katılım Bankası A.Ş since November 2019, Hussam has developed expertise in data warehousing, Informatica, database archiving, performance tuning, OLTP vs OLAP databases, Power BI, Analysis Services, and Integration Services ETL. Prior to this, Hussam worked as a Senior MS Database Administrator at Dubai Holding from January 2008 to November 2018, focusing on MS SQL Server installation, configuration, and clustering. Earlier career experience includes positions at DataLine Technology and Al Marwan Group Holding, where responsibilities encompassed software engineering and database management. Hussam holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Sharjah.
