He completed his undergraduate education at Istanbul University, Department of Business Administration in 2006. After working in the precious metal sector for a while, he started to work in the Treasury Department of the Foreign Affairs Directorate in Albaraka Türk Participation Bank in 2009. After working in the Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals, Money Market and Lease Certificate Transactions services, respectively, until 2018, Yıldırım assumed managerial responsibility in the Investment Banking Department until 2019. He received his master's degree in Islamic Economics and Finance at Istanbul University in 2016. Between the years 2019-2022, he worked as the Assets, Liabilities and Capital Markets Unit Manager and later as the Treasury Unit Manager at Türkiye Emlak Katılım Bankası. Yıldırım, who started his career as Assistant General Manager at Albaraka Türk as of September 2022.
