Jesse Counihan

Jesse Counihan, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Procurement for North America at Ferroglobe PLC, with previous experience as Senior Manager of Global Procurement and Value Programs at Albemarle Corporation, where strategic sourcing leadership has developed innovative strategies for a $700MM spend in Industrial Indirects categories. At Albemarle, Jesse also led efforts in a global renewable energy initiative, significantly increasing renewable energy usage. Prior to this, Jesse held various roles at International Paper, including Global Sourcing Manager for Energy, and served as a Captain in the US Army, earning a Bronze Star for exemplary leadership during combat missions. Jesse holds an MBA in Supply Chain and Corporate Finance from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech.
