Brooks Williams has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to construction technology, project management, and software development. Brooks began their career in 1999 as a Web Applications Developer for InAir, where they were responsible for developing backend and client-side code. Brooks also served as the webmaster for the company's corporate site. In 2001, they joined William Byrne and Associates as an Applications Developer, providing technical consulting services and writing custom software for various organizations. From 2001 to 2007, they worked at Byrne Software Technologies, Inc as a Senior Project Manager, implementing construction project management systems and coding software integrations between project management and accounting systems. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Consultant for Target Corporation's Property Development group, where they served as a business and technical analyst, configuring and customizing Prolog Manager and Prolog Website. Since 2007, Brooks has been with Alberici Constructors, initially serving as the Director of Project Controls & VDC, and currently as the Director of Construction Technology. In these roles, they have been responsible for implementing and supporting project controls procedures and tools, as well as enterprise software implementations such as Procore, Prolog, Oracle Primavera P6, and DocuSign. Brooks has also been involved in data integrations and custom reporting.

Brooks Williams obtained their Bachelor's degree (BA) from Principia College, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Brooks also holds two additional certifications: Procore Certified in Project Management from Procore Technologies, obtained in July 2018, and CM-BIM from AGC of America, obtained in February 2013.
