Caren Bouwmeester is an experienced HR leader with a strong background in transformation and customer service within the retail sector. Currently serving as VP HR Omnichannel Operatie NL-BE and VP HR Winkels en Franchise at Albert Heijn since May 2020, Caren previously held roles such as Director Transformation Stores & Franchise at ING and Head of Customer Loyalty Investments at Gall & Gall. With extensive experience at Albert Heijn, spanning from store management to director-level positions, Caren has a proven track record in operational support, customer service redesign, and team coaching. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Business from Radboud University and leadership training from Beeckestijn Business School and Ahold MD Leadership Programs.
