David Waenink, P.Eng.

David Waenink, P.Eng., has a robust engineering background with extensive experience in operations engineering and market support at the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) since June 2015. David has progressed through various roles, beginning as an Engineer In Training and advancing to Senior Engineer. Prior to AESO, David worked at Callisto Integration as an Advanced Control Systems Designer and participated in co-op opportunities focused on power system model management and system integration. David holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, earned between 2009 and 2014.
