Marcella Matzeit

Marcella Matzeit is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance and regulatory processes, currently serving as a Senior Governance Advisor at AESO since September 2015, where previous roles included Manager of Governance Services, Governance Team Lead, Senior Regulatory Lead, and Manager of Regulatory Processes. Before joining AESO, Marcella worked at the National Energy Board from September 2001 to August 2015, holding positions such as Technical Specialist in Electricity Regulation and Electricity Market Analyst. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager at TransCanada between January 1996 and August 2001, as well as Project Manager in Business Process Reengineering and Customer Service Representative at Nova Gas Transmission from January 1991 to December 1995. Marcella holds a Bachelor of Management degree from The University of Lethbridge.
