Spencer Hall

Spencer Hall is an accomplished professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in market design, procurement, and economic analysis. Currently serving as Manager of Market Design and Tariff at AESO since September 2017, Spencer has also held positions such as Senior Advisor and Senior Economic Advisor, emphasizing the application of economic principles within the organization. Prior to AESO, Spencer worked as a Senior Analyst at IESO, focusing on understanding the impact of renewable energy on electricity markets, and gained experience at the Ontario Energy Board, Market Surveillance Administrator, and ENMAX Corporation in various analytical and regulatory roles. Spencer holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from the University of Calgary.
