Tim Robson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and securities law. Currently serving as the Manager of the Legal, Corporate Finance division at the Alberta Securities Commission since September 2016, Tim oversees a legal team that advises on the interpretation and application of Alberta's securities laws, particularly in corporate finance, investment funds, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this role, Tim practiced law at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP from January 2013 to May 2016, focusing on corporate finance and securities law, and also held a position at Bennett Jones LLP from May 1994 to December 2012, where Tim advised diverse clients in corporate finance and commercial transactions. Tim holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Manitoba.
