Balaji Nambi

Balaji Nambi is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and technology, currently serving as the Group Vice President of Engineering for eCommerce and Digital Customer Experience at Albertsons Companies since July 2020. Prior to this role, Balaji held the position of Vice President of Engineering for Customer Tech, overseeing initiatives such as ShopX, Loyalty, and Customer Service. As an investor at Emergent Ventures, Balaji has been active since July 2017. Previous experience includes leading monetization efforts and serving as Senior Director of Engineering for International eCommerce at Walmart Labs, and managing engineering groups at Intuit and Oracle Corporation. Balaji co-founded Differ Inc and operated a franchise with Hallmark Cards earlier in the career, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from B. M. S. College of Engineering.
