Kayin Talton Davis

Kayin Talton Davis serves as the Director of Partnerships + Design at Albina Vision Trust since April 2021 and has held the position of Communications Manager there. Concurrently, Kayin is a Visiting Professor at Portland State University since January 2023 and a Professor of Practice at the University of Oregon since September 2020. As the Founder and Principal Artist of Soapbox Theory since January 2001, Kayin specializes in designing greeting cards, custom graphic art, and developing new product lines. Previous experience includes teaching science and math at Portland OIC/Rosemary Anderson High School, serving as a Financing Assistant at Micro Enterprise Services of Oregon, and providing graphic design services through various roles. Kayin's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University, earned between 2001 and 2005.
