Dr. Yazdel Guzmán-Echevarría

Dr. Yazdel Guzmán-Echevarría is a Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor at Albizu University, where responsibilities include teaching a variety of courses in the Clinical Psychology (PsyD) graduate program. With a substantial background in clinical practice, Dr. Guzmán-Echevarría has worked in settings such as VIVA Clinic and the Departamento de Corrección y Rehabilitación de Puerto Rico, providing individual therapy and conducting psychological assessments. Previous roles also include serving as a Field Research Examiner for the WISC-V Spanish standardization and facilitating workshops on mental health and violence in schools. Dr. Guzmán-Echevarría holds a Doctor of Psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Ponce Health Sciences University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
