Trung Nguyen

SVP, Operations at ALC Schools

Trung Nguyen is the SVP of Operations at ALC Schools. Prior to their current role, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Senior Tax Associate in Wealth and Asset Management at EY.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Trung conducted tutorial sessions for Accounting & Information System 300, an introductory accounting class for students with non-business majors. In their role at EY, Trung utilized GoSystem to prepare Federal and State Extensions and Income tax returns. Trung also worked as part of a team to prepare and e-file Form 1042 for multiple clients throughout the office. In addition, Trung supported the preparation of Partnership income tax returns by performing Fund-to-Fund K-1 inputs and archiving footnotes. Trung also performed Asset Diversification Tests (ADTs) for Mutual fund clients and provided State tax research on extension requirements, nexus and apportionment.

Trung’s experience in both teaching and tax have prepared him well for their current role as SVP of Operations at ALC Schools. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school, including administrative functions, financial management, and educational programming. Trung’s experience and expertise are an asset to the ALC Schools community.

Trung Nguyen has a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Trung also has a high school diploma from Anglo-Chinese School (Independent). Trung is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Wisconsin.
