Stewart Sanders

Stewart Sanders is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the satellite communications industry, currently serving as EVP Technology and CTO at SES Satellites since October 1999. Throughout the career at SES, Stewart has held various leadership roles, including SVP of Planning & Procurement, where responsibilities included leading teams for satellite and launch vehicle procurement, in-orbit fleet planning, and technical innovation projects. Previous roles include Director at SES Satellite Leasing and Director & Chairman at the Space Data Association, Ltd., focusing on enhancing the safety and efficiency of satellite operations through collaborative data sharing among satellite operators. Stewart's earlier experience includes positions at ICO Global Communications, Intelsat, and British Telecom International, complemented by an MBA from the University of Liverpool and telecommunications education at BTI Training College and Worcester Technical College.
