Kara M. Chase

Kara M. Chase, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a significant amount of experience in Human Resources. Kara M.'smost recent position is as the Executive Director of Human Resources at Alcanza Clinical Research, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Associate Director of Human Resources at PPD from January 2021 to February 2022.

Kara has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including Director of Human Resources at Clinical Research Advantage from May 2011 to January 2021, and Human Resources Manager at Arete Sleep Health from March 2008 to May 2011. Kara M. also worked as a Human Resources Consultant at Synergy Seven in February 2008, providing services to Arete Sleep Health and Clinical Research Advantage.

Earlier in their career, Kara served as a Human Resources Manager at Sallie Mae from March 2006 to January 2008, providing support for a call center location in Gilbert, AZ. Kara M. also worked as the Director of Human Resources at Arizona Heart Institute from April 2003 to March 2006, overseeing strategic planning and day-to-day activities for 8 office locations.

Kara's experience extends to the start-up phase as well, as they developed and led the Human Resources function for Veterinary Staffing Solutions / AcquiXtar from September 2001 to April 2003. Kara M. also worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Alliance Consulting from November 1999 to September 2001, supporting an IT consulting company with offices in seven states. Additionally, Kara gained experience as a Recruiting Specialist at PHH Mortgage from May 1997 to November 1999, achieving high-volume staffing goals.

Throughout their career, Kara has exhibited expertise in various areas of Human Resources, including employee relations, recruitment and retention, leadership development, compliance, benefits administration, and organizational communication.

Kara M. Chase, SPHR, SHRM-SCP earned their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Human Resources, with a minor in Psychology, from King's College. Kara M. obtained their Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2003 and their Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in 2015.
