Maarten Huntjens

Maarten Huntjens has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Maarten started their career in 1993 as a Personnel Manager at Krasnapolsky Hotels & Restaurants and later moved on to become an HR Manager at Compass Group in 1997. In 2000, Huntjens joined Alcatel-Lucent as an HR Manager for Lucent Worldwide Services, and gradually took up more senior roles within the company, such as HR Director for the Netherlands & Nordics and Global HR Business Partner Strategic Industries. In 2011, they were appointed as the Global HR Director for Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, and in 2014 they became the Global Head of Human Resources for Alcatel-Lucent. Later, in 2016, Huntjens became the Global Head of Human Resources & Real Estate for Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise. Overall, Huntjens has gained significant experience and expertise in HR leadership and management roles throughout their career.

Maarten Huntjens attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management. Maarten has also completed various certifications on topics such as speaking skills, employer branding, HR and digital transformation, and people analytics through LinkedIn.
