Kazi Rahman

Kazi Rahman has over 20 years of experience in the tech industry. Kazi began their career as a Systems Engineer at Nortel Networks in 2000. In 2001, they became a Lead Systems Test Engineer at ONI Systems (Ciena). In 2005, they moved to Aruba Wireless Networks as a Sr. QA Manager, where they were responsible for leading the wireless security and remote access test team. In 2013, they joined Sensity Systems, A Verizon Communications company, as an Engineering Director of Cloud and Embedded Platform Verification. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Director of Test Engineering at Alcatraz AI, where they were responsible for Alcatraz products including Hardware qualification, new hardware verification, Cloud front and backend, Embedded Software, machine learning, Web services, Security Pen Tests Portal, and Mobile Apps. Kazi established Machine Learning based Facial Recognition Hardware in Loop (HIL) benchmark test and infrastructure, On-Premise and SaaS Integration (Windows Server and Linux platform)with Kubernetes, AWS. Kazi also owns tools development to increase technical support and engineering operational efficiency.

Kazi Rahman completed a Nano Degree in Introduction to Self Driving Car from Udacity in May 2019. From 1998 to 2000, they obtained an MS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. From 1992 to 1997, they obtained a BS in Electrical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
