Vishal Shah

Vishal Shah, CFA, is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director at Alcentra since June 2023, Vishal oversees the development and management of technology, data, and AI tools across the organization. Prior to this role, Vishal spent nearly a decade at East Lodge Capital Partners LLP as Chief Technology Officer, where responsibilities included designing and maintaining the firm's technology platform and collaborating on risk analytics and multi-asset portfolio risk management. Earlier positions include roles as Quant & Strategy Analyst at FM Capital Partners and as an Investment Management Associate at Morgan Stanley, where Vishal focused on front-office technology applications. Educational credentials include a CFA charter from the CFA Institute and a Master’s degree in Computing from Imperial College London.
