Lamees Abdelaziz

Lamees Abdelaziz is a professional curator and cultural manager with extensive experience in the visual arts sector. Currently serving as Curator and Cultural Manager at Alchemy Design Studio since April 2025, Lamees oversees program development and strategic partnerships for Tamara Haus, a multidisciplinary space. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor of Visual Culture at The American University in Cairo, Associate Director at Gypsum, and Program Coordinator at the same university, where Lamees contributed to curriculum development and student support. Lamees has also held positions as Gallery Manager at SOMA Art School & Gallery, Teaching Assistant at The American University in Cairo, and Creative Director at Mashroo3 Kheir. Lamees holds a Master of Arts in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art with a minor in Journalism and Mass Communication from The American University in Cairo.
