Yuri Pereira

Yuri Pereira is a Senior Process Engineer at Eneva since March 2021, overseeing key process KPIs for plant operations involving coal high pressure boilers, turbogenerators, and cooling systems, while also providing technical support and driving system improvements. Prior experience includes serving as a Process Control Engineer at ALCOA from February 2017 to March 2021, focusing on the Bayer Process and the optimization of regulatory controls, as well as leading efforts in implementing system changes and managing plant utilities. Earlier roles at ALCOA involved monitoring critical KPIs for various boiler types and participating in fuel supply development and combustion waste management projects. Yuri Pereira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Maranhão and a postgraduate specialization in Thermoenergetic Systems Engineering from PUC Minas, complemented by international experience in chemical engineering studies at the University of Debrecen.
