Lionel Gillbee

Lionel Gillbee is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and consultancy. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at ABN Group since November 2020, Lionel has previously held roles including Systems Engineer and a 6-month contract as a System Engineer through Verse Group in Australia. Prior to this, Lionel was a Senior IT Consultant at Denver from June 2005 to October 2020 and worked as an IT Consultant at Gijima, contributing to the successful migration project from NT4.0 to Windows 2000 Active Directory at ABSA Bank in Johannesburg, South Africa. Lionel's career began at Siemens, where roles included Senior Systems Engineer from June 1994 to March 2003. Educationally, Lionel holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) from Port Elizabeth Technikon in South Africa, completed from 1992 to 1994.
