Richard Piper

Richard Piper is an experienced leader and trustee with a strong background in charity and organizational management. Currently serving as CEO of Alcohol Change UK and a Board Trustee for the Children's Chronic Arthritis Association, Richard has a proven track record of driving impact and positive change. Previous roles include Director of Impact Leadership at Mencap and CEO of Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, where Richard transformed the organization into a child-centered entity. With extensive expertise in strategy, evaluation, and community engagement, Richard's academic credentials include a PhD from UCL and a MA from Newcastle University, complemented by a strong foundation in geography from the University of Liverpool.
