Eduardo Contreras

Eduardo Contreras has over 20 years of experience in the IT services industry. In 1997, they began their career as a Systems Administrator at SEMATECH. In 2001, they founded and became the CEO of ALCON DTS, a premier IT service provider in Austin. In 2015, they joined the Advisory Board of Chef In A Bottle, a family owned and operated business specializing in natural chef-crafted luxury gourmet products. In 2016, they co-founded and became a Board Member of TXMX. In 2019, they co-founded and became a Board Member of Safire Events, LLC. In 2020, they became a Partner and CTO of Cymatrax, Inc. In 2021, they became a Member of InfraGard National Members Alliance, a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and members of the private sector for the protection of U.S. Critical Infrastructure.

Eduardo Contreras attended SBA / Interise in 2015, where they completed the Emerging Leaders program. Eduardo also attended The University of Texas-Pan American. Additionally, they obtained the Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age certification from Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education in May 2021 and the CERTIFIED HIPAA SECURITY PROFESSIONAL (CHSP) certification from 4MedPlus Training Corporation in January 2018.
