Andrea Petznick

Andrea Petznick currently serves as the Senior Director of Global Medical Affairs at Alcon, having held several positions within the company since July 2013, including Medical Director for Surgical North America and Global Product Director for Refractive. Prior to Alcon, Andrea gained experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Singapore Eye Research Institute and as a part-time Research Optometrist at the Vision Cooperative Research Centre in Australia. Additionally, professional background includes work as an Optometrist/Optician at Fielmann AG&Co in Germany. Andrea holds a PhD in Science from UNSW and is pursuing additional education in Digital Marketing at Cornell University and Product Strategy at Kellogg Executive Education. Educational credentials also include studies at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin and Fachschule für Optik und Feinwerktechnik Berlin.
