Burcu Kural Bektas

Burcu Kural Bektas serves as the Country Franchise Head for Surgical in the Benelux region at Alcon since November 2016, where responsibilities include developing and executing a turnaround plan for sustainable growth in the Surgical Retina portfolio across Europe. Previous positions at Alcon included Strategic Execution Director for Europe, International Senior Product Manager for the PanOptix Brand, Line Manager for the Surgical Retina Business, and Product Manager in the Surgical Retina division. Prior experience includes roles at Bausch + Lomb as a Product Manager in Vision Care, Stryker as a Product Manager for Medical Surgery, and Johnson & Johnson as a Territory Sales Representative for Ethicon Endo Surgery. Burcu Kural Bektas obtained a BS in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University, studied from 2006 to 2011, and completed secondary education at Balıkesir Fen Lisesi from 2002 to 2006.
