Chris Holderness has a diverse career spanning over 25 years in mechanical engineering and design. Their most recent position was with Alcon as a Senior Principal Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Flex as a Component Process Development Engineer, where they collaborated with suppliers on process and product qualifications for medical devices. Chris also has experience at Mitel and ShoreTel as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager, leading NPI projects and improving factory yields. Earlier in their career, they held roles at companies such as AirBorn Inc, SurfaceInk, Dell, Isochron, Design Edge, and Corning Cable Systems, where they gained valuable experience in mechanical design and engineering testing. Chris Holderness completed an AAS degree in Drafting & Design from Texas State Technical College from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Granbury High School from 1990 to 1994, where they pursued General Studies. In addition to their formal education, Chris Holderness has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Leading with a Heavy Heart" in 2021, "Leading at a Distance" in 2020, and "Time Management: Working from Home" in 2020.
