Douglas Weekes

Douglas Weekes has over 25 years of work experience, starting in 1996 as a Business Owner, Designer, and Fabricator of custom special purpose equipment. Douglas also provided manufacturing engineering consulting services during this time. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Engineer of Manufacturing Automation at The Greenbrier Companies. Currently, since June 2022, they hold the position of Principal Engineer at Alcon.

Douglas Weekes attended the University of Minnesota, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Douglas also pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science and obtained another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Minnesota.
