Indu Vedamurthy

Indu Vedamurthy is a professional with extensive experience in clinical development and medical affairs, currently serving as Director-Expert Project Lead at Alcon since April 2015, with a previous role as Senior CDMA Project Lead. Prior to Alcon, Indu was the Director of the Pediatric Vision Program at Orange County, GHEI, and served as a Faculty Research Associate at the University of Rochester, directing large-scale NEI and NIH funded global clinical studies. Indu also has experience as Clinical Manager for the Surgical Platform at Bausch & Lomb, contributing to the launch strategy of a specialized accommodating intraocular lens. Earlier roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. Indu holds a PhD in Optometry & Vision Science from UNSW and a BS in Optometry from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
