Jim Owen is currently the Director of Global Quality Customer Service at Alcon and serves as President at Encinitas Ophthalmic Consultants since 2015. Previously, Jim held the position of Senior Medical Science Liaison at Bausch + Lomb from 2021 to 2023 and was an Optometry Specialist at Gordon Schanzlin New Vision Institute from 2020 to 2021. Jim also worked as the Director of Clinical Services at Vision Group between 2016 and 2020. In addition to their extensive experience in the ophthalmic field, Jim is pursuing an MBA at San Diego State University and an OD at Illinois College of Optometry.
