Leopoldo Peña

Leopoldo Peña, EE, MBA, currently serves as the Global Director of Technical Support and Training at Alcon, a position held since August 2023. With extensive experience spanning over two decades, Peña previously held various leadership roles at Alcon, including Director of Global Tech Services Technology and Training and Director of Global Technical Support, where responsibilities included designing and implementing strategies for technical training and support on a global scale, incorporating advancements in technologies such as AI and Augmented Reality. Prior experience includes positions at Lumenis as Senior Customer Engineer and Regional Service Manager for Latin America, and a tenure at GPMI Ingenieros as General Manager. Peña holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar and an MBA from Universidad Metropolitana, along with studies at Cornell University.
