Prabhakar Vagvala

Prabhakar Vagvala has extensive experience in ERP operations and management, currently serving as the Head of Global ERP Operations at Alcon since July 2019. In this role, Prabhakar established a 24x7 ERP service operation post-separation from Novartis, overseeing a portfolio valued at up to USD 50 million and leading a global team supporting 166 ERP systems for over 30,000 end users. Previously, Prabhakar worked as Associate Director SAP at Alcon, managing the successful separation of ERP systems from Novartis. Prior to this, Prabhakar held the position of Director SAP at Ciba Vision, leading SAP implementation across multiple legal entities and managing complex supply chain processes. Early career stages included roles at Infosys Technologies, Wipro Infotech, and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, where skills in procurement and supply chain management were developed. Prabhakar holds an MBA in Finance from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning.
