Luis Alves Martins

LUIS ALVES MARTINS has extensive work experience in the procurement field. LUIS started their career as a Driver and Buyer at Synlabhealth Alentejo in 2002 and worked there until 2010. LUIS then joined Synlab Norte Alentejo as a Deputy Operations Manager from 2010 to 2013. Following this, they worked at Synlab as the Head of Procurement Portugal from 2013 to 2016, and then as the Head of Procurement, Iberia from 2016 to 2018. From 2018 to 2023, they worked at Synlab International GmbH as the Senior Procurement Manager Processes & Data. Currently, they are the Head of Procurement Excellence at SYNLAB International.

Luis Alves Martins completed an MBA in Gestão at the Institute of Business Management in 2021. Prior to that, they studied Mathematics at the Universidade Évora starting in 1993. Additionally, Luis attended the Escola Secundária Gabriel Pereira, although the exact dates and degree obtained are unknown.
