Maria Luisa Merico

Maria Luisa Merico is an accomplished legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in corporate governance and regulatory affairs within the healthcare and diagnostics sectors. Currently serving as the Legal and Compliance Coordinator for the South Region at SYNLAB International since May 2023, Maria Luisa has been with the SYNLAB group since June 2018, where Maria Luisa holds the position of Head of Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance. Prior to this, Maria Luisa held various compliance and legal roles at Korian from July 2009 to June 2018 and has also worked with Amsa and Gruppo Poste Italiane. Educational qualifications include a law degree from LUISS Guido Carli University, a Master’s in Management Training from Studio APS, and an ongoing Master’s Degree in Privacy Management from 24ORE Business School.
